Memory Verse - Romans 6:4
Today we began a study on the personal value we place on ourselves, and where that value is to come from.  We had an honest and open discussion of what our society thinks gives us value.  Some of the answers the kids came up with were:

Money, being cool, looking good, being skinny, cars, jobs, and others.

We talked about why each of those is not a good indicator of our value, and we will begin to study the Bible and find out what our purpose is and how that should be our true value.
