Bible:
No Memory Verse this week
We talked about Romans 12, and how to deal with people who disagree with us.
Language Arts: Writing
We began our brainstorming for our Persuasive Essays. Each student was to choose a topic and then begin to brainstorm arguments in support of their topic. Only two students did not get a topic chosen.
Social Studies:
Today and tomorrow are the last in class days for doing research on our Revolutionary War topics for our groups. Students are still allowed and encouraged to do research at home if need be. Monday, we will be starting
Language Arts: Reading
We read a chapter and a half out of Little Britches. I alternate having the students practice their reading skills and listening for enjoyment, and today we listened for the pure enjoyment of the story.
Math:
Lesson 20: All letters and numbers.
