Happy PFD Day. Remember not to go shopping over the next couple of days unless you enjoy crowded stores and long lines.
Bible:
Memory Verse - 2 Timothy 3:16
We learned that Jesus used to Old Testament to give two disciples a study about Himself (Luke 24), thereby teaching us that the Old Testament is useful for New Testament Christians as well.
Language Arts: Writing
We learned about Peer Editing today in regards to our Persuasive Essays.
We also worked on identifying verb phrases in class
Science:
Our Test is next Wednesday. I have encouraged the students to study a little bit every night.
We have gone over different study and memorization techniques in class
We went over the first half of the steps in Meiosis. We will be finishing our objectives tomorrow.
Language Arts: Reading
Student will be reading Day three in their books tonight.
Reading assignments are as follows for Day 3:
Water Sky - 15 pages per day
Tuck Everlasting- 2 chapters a day
Tale of Despereaux - 4 chapters a day
The Sign of the Beaver - 2 chapters a day
