Langauge Arts: Writing
We began doing research for our biographies.
Students have my permission, but need yours as well, to bring a computer, tablet, or device that accesses the internet to school to do research on.
Wednesday and Thursday are our in class research days left. Friday, they are to begin with their rough draft.
Science:
We had a presentation from Expressions of Emmanuel, a Christian Ministry for the deaf during this time.
Social Studies:
We went over the actions of the Second Continental Congress.
Language Arts: Reading
Books were handed out today, and here are the books and their daily reading assignments:
Because of Winn-Dixie: 11 pages a day
My Side of the Mountain: 10 pages a day
The Incredible Journey: 9 pages a day
Where the Red Fern Grows: 1.5 chapters a day
Math:
We took test 7 today
