Bible:
Memory Verse - Philippians 4:6
We are reading through the story of Moses and today we got to the burning bush. We noticed the difference in the character of Moses since he has spent 40 years shepherding sheep.
Language Arts: Writing
Descriptive page was due today.
We worked on identifying adverbs.
Science:
Quick review of terms and concepts we have already gone over.
We read pages 263-264 and learned about winds, fronts, and global and local winds.
Social Studies:
We finished our objectives today. The rest of the week will be spent reviewing and practicing writing essay answers.

We are reading as a class from the book The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis.
Our class reading assignment is the first chapter of The Giver and working on a vocabulary worksheet.

Language Arts: Spelling / Handwriting
Spelling - Worksheet day. We used index cards to write our words and definitions on to create a memory game with our spelling words.
