We are going over procedure and practice in our classroom. We are learning how to do work and how the classroom works.
Bible: No memory verse this week. We are learning what it means to treat others as we wish to be treated.
We are also learning how to locate 4 books in our Bible: Genesis, Psalms, Matthew, and Revelation. From those books, we will then learn how to locate others, but those are the 4 primary books to know right now.
Math: Most students are done with the placement test, the rest will finish tomorrow.
Social Studies: We are learning how to use latitude and longitude on maps, so we can plot our course in the upcoming simulation.
Science: We are learning how to take notes and to use a textbook to get information.
Language Arts:
Handwriting - We are going over how to form all the letters. Today we went over Aa, Bb, Cc
Writing - We are working on a two paragraph 'story' about an important event in each of our lives and what lesson that event taught us.
